Phoenix Simplicity Index Life a simplified issue, flexible premium universal life policy that offers death benefit protection and the opportunity to allocate policy value in any combination of three different accounts: a fixed account that earns interest at a declared rate, an indexed account subject to a performance cap, or an indexed account tied to a participation rate. Each of the indexed accounts earns an annual index credit based on the positive performance of the S&P 500 Index1.
Though policy value can vary based on the index results, policy funds are never directly invested in market stocks, bonds or equities, and this product is not registered with the SEC. Regardless of index performance, the product guarantees a 0% crediting floor.
Phoenix Simplicity Index Life can be useful for death benefit protection and cash value accumulation for long-term goals, and the simplified issue feature makes applying easy, with no required medical tests or complicated paperwork2. Phoenix Simplicity Index Life may be attractive to more risk-averse clients who are interested in the potential for higher crediting rates than current assumption products, but also want protection against cash value loss due to market downturns.Training & Reference Guide
